Who we are

Balanced Health Fitness, LLC runs this website and the studio at 3828 Sunrise Hwy, Seaford, NY 11783. The owner is Bridgette Hartz. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Balanced Health Fitness.

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website: the pages about the studio, programs, pricing and coaches.

Booking, packages and member accounts are handled outside this website. From Monday, November 9, 2026 that is the Balanced Health Fitness app, which has its own privacy policy; until then, bookings are made on our current booking provider’s pages, under that provider’s privacy policy. Members’ data inside the app, and anything you enter there, is covered by the app’s privacy policy.

What the website collects

The pages are static: every visitor gets the same page. There are no forms, accounts, comments or logins on this website, so it never asks you to type in personal information.

The website’s own code does not set cookies or store anything in your browser. Google Analytics does, but only when it is turned on (see below).

Booking, contact and consultation requests

“Book a free consultation”, “Join”, “Choose this package” and “Member login” go through the Balanced Health Fitness app, which sends you on: until Monday, November 9, 2026 to our current booking provider’s booking page, and from then on into the app itself. That is where you enter your details, and what you enter there is covered by that page’s privacy policy (the app’s, from November 9).

Those links tell the app which page and button you came from (for example, from=pricing). If you reached our website through a link with campaign tags (utm_source, utm_campaign and similar), the website passes those tags on to the app too, and until November 9 the app passes the campaign tags (not the page or button) on to the booking page. They describe the link you used, not you.

If you call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us. We use it to answer you.

Google Analytics

This website has Google Analytics, a service from Google, built in, but it runs only when we turn it on. When it is off, no Google Analytics code loads. Right now it is turned off.

When it is on, Google Analytics collects:

• the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the website or link that brought you here, including campaign tags
• the buttons and links you tap, such as Book, Join, a package, our phone number or directions
• your type of device, browser, operating system, screen size and language
• your approximate location (city, region and country), which Google works out from your IP address. Google Analytics does not store the IP address itself.

Google Analytics uses cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code) to recognize a browser that has visited before. It does not give us your name, email address or phone number. We use the reports to see which pages and buttons help people and to improve the website.

Google handles this data under its own rules: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. It stops Google Analytics on every website you visit in that browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Other services the website uses

• Fonts: the pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. To send the font files, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, as it would for any web request. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Hosting: the website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the page and protect the website from attacks. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor is a person and not a bot, it may set a short-lived security cookie.
• Links to other websites: we link to Google Maps (directions and reviews), Instagram, Facebook and the Balanced Health Fitness app. These are plain links. Nothing from those websites loads on our pages unless you tap one, and then that website’s own privacy policy applies.
• No embeds: there are no embedded maps, videos, social media feeds, booking widgets, chat windows, ads or tracking pixels on this website.

We do not sell personal information

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We share it only as this policy describes.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
